Anne was born in 1939 in France. She studied painting and archiecture in the BeauArts in Paris. She worked as a set and costume designer in theatre and dance She moved to Vancouver in 1966 and joined Intermedia under the direction of choreographer, Helen Goodwin. She moved to Hornby Island in 1968: Returning to the land, weaving gardening and raising children. In 1974 she started to paint again under the guidance of art therapist, Kay Collis with an emphasis on feelings and emotions. Starting in 1980, she had various shows on Hornby, Courtenay, Victoria, Vancouver, Paris, Marseilles. In 1984 she had a big retrospective show in the Surrey Art Gallery. She works in oil, watercolour or gouache. The paintings vary from figurative with landscapes, flowers, portraits to non-figurative but they all show the artist's delight for colour and her interest in rythm and pattern reminding her of love for music and dance
